Sunday Morning Worship

Sunday Morning Worship

Sunday morning church services are a wonderful time of fellowship for our small group of believers that includes praise and worship, preaching, teaching, and children’s ministry. I have been blessed to see God bring forth gifts in Jon’s ministry that were needed for such a time as this. I may be his wife, but I am blessed to have him lead me in worship with song and then to hear his message on God’s Word. I am very thankful for the many and varied gifts God is giving us as we pursue this adventure of serving Him in Prague…gifts that bless all of us including Eloise. Here you see Jon leading praise and worship with one of the young people serving here with us from the US, Michael Adams. Jon enjoys using his mandolin to lead worship. I bought him that mandolin for his first birthday after we were married! He has taught himself to play and I think he does a great job!

Our Sunday fellowship group is small, but we are proceeding as though it does not matter if there are five in attendance or 50! Please pray that God will bless everyone’s efforts. We also recently started a more deliberate approach to children’s church. Who attends children’s church right now? Eloise and Lydia. But that’s ok! We will proceed as if we were preparing for many more children. These two little ones are worth it! Ann-marie taught Children’s church this morning and when I walked in Eloise was full of smiles. They had learned about Noah’s Ark and Eloise had helped “build” the boat!
