No, that is not the sound of a sneeze. I have been told that this word means “Little Mole” in czech. It is also the title of Eloise’s new favorite video, a Christmas gift from Stana, a member of our fellowship here in Prague.

Krtek is a popular Czech cartoon about a little mole. Apparently it has has been around for a while. There is some Czech spoken in the cartoon, but mostly it is without words. However, Eloise DID tell a little girl “Ahoj!” (“Hi!” in Czech) the other day at the playground (yes, we were there in the freezing cold…us and two other little girls).

What you see in this picture is several of those who came over to our apartment for our weekly Sunday evening fellowship gathering. They are completely focused on this cartoon!
