During the service Jon used the Resurrection Eggs that my mother sent to us in an easter care package to tell the story of Easter to the children. Of course, the children loved opening the eggs to see what each one held, but it was also a great way for the adults in attendance to hear the story.
You can’t see Eloise in this picture because she is on the other side of Daddy. I think it took her a few minutes to understand that Daddy was telling the story to ALL of the children! We play with the eggs and talk about them at home. They are her eggs! She did a great job of sharing them.
