A Tale Of Two Tombs

Here you see hundreds of people lined up to visit Lenin’s tomb. It was particularly crowded because it was his birthday. However, it was also a bit ironic, as his birthday fell on the Saturday between Orthodox Good Friday and Easter. It seemed striking that so many were waiting so long to see a dead man’s tomb on the day that Christians anticipate the joy of an empty tomb.
