. . . posts on faith and life
Today we celebrated the end of the internship period for these four outstanding individuals. There is no way I could do justice in describing how wonderful they each are and just how much we will miss them. Here is a brief look at their future plans:
Starting from the left:
Brad Gleeson: Will be flying back to the US, specifically to Georgia, tomorrow morning only to prepare to leave within a month to help launch a Mission discipleship program in Las Vegas, Nevada. For his time in Prague, we awarded him the award for “Leadership”.
Jessica Zerbe: Will be flying back home to Texas Wednesday morning. She will spend her summer in preparation to come back to Prague next fall to continue helping with our ministry initiatives here in Europe. For her time in Prague, we awarded her with the award for “Creativity”.
Kelley Thacker: Will be flying back home to Kentucky tomorow morning. She will be spending her summer in preparation to go to school in Moosejaw, Canada at the International Bible School. She plans on continuing her education in order to be a counselor. For her time in Prague, we awarded her with the award for “Personal Growth”.
Michael Adams: Will be staying in Prague throughout the summer to help keep things flowing here with the fellowship along with Sunny Evans while The Augustine’s and the Stone family will be away in the US attending school, fundraising, and attending the General Assembly. He is a vital part of this fellowhship. Seeing himself as a missionary, he plans on staying on in Prague to help with ministry efforts here in the city. For his time in Prague, we awarded him with award for “Servanthood”.
They are talented. They are godly. They are beautiful people. We love each of you! Thank you for being the pioneers for the internship/discipleship ministry we are attempting to start on the continent of Europe! Breaking ground is tough work! God chose you to be our first group and we are so glad that He did. You are like family now.
