The Iowa State Fair

The Iowa State Fair
Originally uploaded by thestonesinprague.

We topped off our visit to Iowa with a trip to Des Moines. There we spent two days at the state fair and one day visiting churches. Sunday, we were blessed to spend time with Valley Junction Church of God in the morning and Three Lakes Church of God in the evening. They showered us with their hospitality and we enjoyed spending time with both unique church families.

So what do you do at the Iowa State Fair? I am glad you asked…

Well, you start things out by meeting the 2006 Rodeo Queen…
