. . . posts on faith and life
Eloise love to go to her ballet class, but on the night of the big performance she fell asleep on the way and woke up crying and saying she did not want to dance. We walked into a room filled with girls ages 3-20 dressed up for a ballet recital. In the corner of the room was the rest of the three and four year old class. Crying seems to be contagious at this age so within a few minutes half of the class was crying.
Enters Jon Stone.
Jon, who took Eloise to her class a couple of times, began to do silly renditions of their dance. The girls immediately perked up and said: “THAT’S NOT HOW YOU DO IT!” Then they proceeded to wipe their eyes and do the dance for him. He was rewarded with lots of giggles as he kept “messing up” and a comment from one mom who said to me as she walked by: “I don’t know what he does…but he’s hired!”
