Window Shopping

Window Shopping
Originally uploaded by thestonesinprague

Lillian loves to take the stepping stool, carry it to the window, step up, and look out at the busy streets below. I soon here: “Mommy! It’s a choo-choo train! Mommy, it’s sissy’s car (?)! Mommy, it’s Mim’s car (?!?)! Mommy opny!” That last one means “open”! Lillian would love for me to open up both windows in our double paned window, but I am anxious enough with her just standing that close to the window from the fifth floor of our apartment building. Keeping that window closed is a family rule!
