Nana’s Legacy


My grandmother passed away the day after Christmas. She was an artist, lifelong learner, world traveler, crochet and knitting genius…and more importantly she loved my daughters, her only great-grandchildren. We now have dozens of her paintings in our home. Here is a picture of one.

    That’s a perfect picture to use. Remember at the end of “The Lord of the Rings” when Frodo was taken down to the boat in order to “cross over?” Well, that painting reminds me of that in some way, and it’s a perfect intro into talking about what Nana “left behind” when she crossed over!
